As well as attending weekly rehearsals, the members of this Ensemble are committed to music studies and/or voice training. They also participate in a variety of wonderful performance opportunities, recordings and a touring program.
Brisbane Birralee Voices is acknowledged on home shores and abroad as one of Australia's finest children's choirs. The program encourages young singers to develop their vocal technique and attain musical excellence and there is a strong focus on nurturing the individual in a broader sense.
In addition to the excitement of achieving high artistic goals and the personal enrichment experienced by each member, there is an emphasis placed on the benefits of sharing their gift of music with others and the intrinsic value of music within society. This helps develop generosity of spirit, tolerance and acceptance of cultural diversity.

The Ensemble has performed successfully in major music festivals in Israel and abroad. Their resume includes hundreds of performances in the most prominent venues in Israel (‘The Israeli Opera House‘, ‘Binyanei Hauma‘, ‘Tzavta‘ etc...) and collaborations with various artists and Ensembles, including: ‘The Vocal Octet‘ , ‘The Kolan quartet‘, the singer Hanan Yovel and ‘The Haifa Symphony Orchestra'. They have received media exposure on radio and television programs and were featured in a special television program celebrating the Millennium year which
was broadcasted to 60 countries worldwide. In 2004, the Ensemble was invited to a concert tour in Germany and was warmly received by the critics.
The group's repertoire includes fresh vocal arrangements of well-known classical instrumental pieces, Israeli songs, folk songs in various languages, songs from musicals, Jazz and latin music.

If I wasn't holding the camera, I would have been waving my lightsaber around. I get so hyped up hearing this.

Writing LISTEN was an emotional process. The first hurdle was deciding which excerpts from the testimonies of Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford to set, which meant reading and listening and living inside these women’s harrowing stories for an extended period. And like most women, the most discomfiting aspect of listening to their testimony is the recognition. When I first heard about Ford’s experience, I was disturbed by its similarity to an incident that happened to me. I went to an all-girls private school, and we sometimes partnered with an all-boys private school for musicals.
