Traces Gospel Choir is a small women’s group with roots in many continents. Traces is a diverse ensemble, with members of different musical backgrounds who sing gospel and positive secular music in Norway and the rest of the world.

We sing a variety of music ranging from show-tunes to pop, moving ballads to toe-tapping up-tunes, with a preference for harmony music in the barbershop style. Phoenix have performed around the world, in the USA, Canada, Holland and Ireland as well as all over Britain in world renowned venues such as the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Sage in Gateshead.

Every Wednesday there's something for our synapses: Singing jazz grooves, clapping on 2 and 4, not to mention running back and forth while singing. And let's not forget: Always smile! Biography In 2005, the women's Choir was founded by Anja Schumann, who wields the scepter of musical art. Since then we diligently work on repertoire, refine the singing talents and laugh a lot.
