We have a growing reputation for singing in concert. We are also available for hire to sing in church services, including weddings, funerals and special communions. We offer a complete repertoire for Christmas carol concerts and we are also available and pleased to help raise money for charity.  

Acappellago was founded in 2002 by a number of community members seeking a Musical challenge. We present a wide variety of Music ranging from classical, contemporary, jazz, pop, gospel, spirituals & have given a number of world, US & Chicago premieres.

Our repertoire spans the centuries, from the Renaissance to the 21st Century. Our particular speciality is folk Music from all over the globe. Cantóirí sings each song in the original language. We are lucky as we have been able to draw on the language skills of Choir members from around the world. Cantóirí perform regularly in Dublin and also enjoy taking part in Choral competitions around the country.

The Choir has with its conductor Jan Yngwe toured the better part of Europe, as well as Japan (1989), Cuba (1995), South Africa (1999) and Brazil (2004), in all some thirty international concert tours.

With the addition of Richard Larson as artistic director and a handful of additional singers, the group quickly found a footing in the cultural fabric of Denver, Colorado. Now entering its 15th full season of performing, the group has expanded into an auditioned ensemble of 54 volunteer singers who meet weekly to rehearse. Many of the singers come from schools with strong choral Music programs, such as Augustana, Brigham Young, Concordia, Luther, St. Olaf, Wartburg, and the University of Northern Colorado. Kantorei established itself as one of the nation’s premier choral ensembles after performing as an auditioned Choir for the 2003 National American Choral Directors Association Conference at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Choristry is a choral ensemble based in Melbourne, Australia, performing under the direction of award winning conductor, Trevor Jones. The Choir was formed with the commitment of performing beautiful choral Music at the highest standard.

Known for its’ varying repertoire, ranging from adaptations of classical Music, jazz standards, folk and rock arrangements to dancehall and hip hop songs, the ensemble is lead by Choir director and Music teacher Mrs. Susanne Faatz. “JazzVocals” was founded twenty years ago and is one of Berlin’s veteran jazz/pop acappella ensembles.
