This dedicated group of girls are true ambassadors of the country, and have performed to great acclaim in the UK, India, China, Australia, Kuwait, Austria and France. In the forthcoming months, the choir is scheduled to perform many local concerts and international tours, with their Founder and Music Director, Soundarie David. We encourage choral singing for all ages and abilities, including those who have never sung in choirs before as well as very experienced singers. We perform a wide range of music throughout the year and we're committed to contributing to the cultural life of our area. there is no need to audition, just to love singing! Musical genres performed by the chorus include Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, 21st Century, spirituals, pop, rock, R&B, and jazz. GGCC generally performs at least two concerts per year, a Winter/Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert.
