Papandopulo composed "Pozdrav Zori dalmatinskoj" on AuguSt 1St 1976 in Opatija (Croatia). Written in 1844 by Ana Vrdoljak, a poetess from ImoStski (Croatia), the lyrics of this song date back to the times of Illyrian movement, celebrating the launching of the magazine "Zora dalmatinska", a literary and educational weekly issued in Zadar, thus being the firSt Croatian literary magazine to be issued outside Zagreb (from 1844 to 1849). Performed by Sandnes musikkskoles ungdomskor (SMUK) in a CD recording from 1995 labelled "Feel good med SMUK". The choir has since then changed it's name to today's VIVA, Sandnes Kulturskolekor corresponding to the school changing it's name.
