In recent years, works which we have performed include Bach ‘Magnificat’, Vivaldi ‘Gloria’, Mozart ‘Requiem’, Orff ‘Carmina Burana’, Rossini ‘Stabat Mater’, Dvorak ‘Mass in D’, Tippett ‘A Child of our Time’, Handel 'Messiah' and Verdi ‘Requiem’.' We engage professional soloists and orchestra, to perform with the choir. Since March 2015 our Musica Director is Adam Treadaway. We perform three concerts a year at St George's Church Beckenham with weekly rehearsals from September to June at the St George's Church Hall. These venues are close to Beckenham Junction Rail and Tram Stations and on many bus routes. Aiming for 16-20 voices, SATB, rehearse in Hammersmith/Chiswick, about every 2 or 3 weeks. All busy professional folk, who understand we cannot all make every rehearsal! All busy professional folk, who understand we cannot all make every rehearsal! Classical almost always unaccompanied repertoire. Palestrina, Bach, Victoria, Britten, Howells, RVW, Elgar, Poulenc etc, Need enthusiasm, music reading and some sight singing, or a good ear and quick learning. We dont audition, but invite you to try us and we to try you for a couple of sessions and see. Perform about 2 or 3 times a year.

BAVE Community Choir is a non-auditioned choir based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia (a suburb of Kuala Lumpur). The choir welcomes members of the community to join in and explore their voices along side others with the same Passion and intereSt.
