The conStitution and firSt rehearsal of the Choir was held on January 18, 2016. The Choir has been holding since its foundation regular weekly rehearsals, and has grown into the biggeSt male Choir in Croatia, but also wider. The Choir in its repertoire emphasizes classical choral literature, primarily Croatian composers. In addition, the Choir's repertoire includes both a cappella compositions of the classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, as well as the clapet and compositions of contemporary or popular multilayer music. Members of the Choir are present the former Students and Staff of the Faculty, as well as other intereSted friends and supporters of the Faculty. This type of song is sometimes labelled Kutaisian because the town of Kutaisi (in weStern Georgia) is considered the centre in weStern urban songs, which are based on European harmony. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a Choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and All songs are taught and learnt by ear.
