The Choir promotes European and Croatian musical heritage giving concerts both home and outside Zagreb, but also enjoys performing classical music to the audience that does not tend to go to cultural events. Since 2007, the Choir has been conducted by Ms. Elena Konovalova. Under her guidance, the Choir won first place at Zagreb Singing Choirs Competition 2012, in Vocal Ensembles category.

Mister Sandman (choral arrangement)
The 50s song Mister Sandman by Pat Ballard, which I arranged, on request, for our local Choir. After a few concerts, I thought it would also be fun to sing it all myself (multitracking), so here it is.
I have now published the score; see below

These are strange, hard times: we must #stayathome for our own health, to protect other people and to fight a virus called Covid-19.
But Music doesn't stop and the Vox Canora singers, even though physically distant, want to try to "Fix You" with this video where you'll find the typical Vox Canora moments of irony.
We are longing for the day we will meet, hug and sing together but for the moment we must #STAYHOME
Director: Monica Lodesani
Audio and video processing: Marzio Morini
Arrangement: Lorenzo Subrizi

St Stephen’s has a strong musical tradition with two choral services each Sunday throughout the year (except August when the Choir has a well deserved break – but usually sing elsewhere for a number of days). Music is sung from across the centuries, ranging from plainsong dating back hundreds of years right through to contemporary works by composers such as John Tavener and Arvo Pärt, including works written especially for us. less
