 Our repertoire consists mainly of folk, gospel, pop and freedom songs all sung in glorious 4 part harmony and mostly in a capella style. All choir members have online access to MP3 recordings of their parts so they can practise anytime.

We love welcoming new people so it would be great to have you along. There is no audition and everyone is welcome to come and check us out for a night before they join.  less

Trying to fit LCGC into a neat slot is virtually impossible. LCGC is known for their up-tempo gospel flair, swing-beat, R’n'B, traditional and soulful arrangements, with their invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics – LCGC is outstanding to watch! It’s 40+ members perform just about anywhere, private corporate functions, after-show parties, conferences, schools, cabaret functions, clubs, weddings, christenings, funerals, prisons, churches, open-air festivals, theatres and concert halls. LCGC have sung on the soundtrack for Walt Disney’s “The Lion King”, performed for Nelson Mandela during his famous visit to London, officiated at many celebrity weddings and supported Madonna on stage during Live 8. They represent the best of British and have been sponsored by the British Council at international festivals in Europe, Africa and Israel. The Boychoir’s reputation for excellence has brought invitations from local and national music conventions, as well as sporting events and touring Broadway companies. The Boychoir has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Prague Philharmonic, Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on National Public Radio, amongst others. This season our choirboys will be featured in Minnesota American Choral Directors Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Golden Finale Concert along with first-time appearances with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, Edina Chorale and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church Choir (Orff’s Carmina Burana). We will participate in the third annual Minnesota State Festival of Boychoirs in April. Zaśpiewaliśmy m.in. kilka utworów namibijskich ...  moreKoncert chóru "Razzle Dazzle", podczas którego zaprezentowaliśmy repertuar z najdalszych, muzycznych zakątków świata odbył się 29 czerwca 2019 w Szkole Muzycznej I i II st. im. Zygmunta Noskowskiego w Gdyni. Zaśpiewaliśmy m.in. kilka utworów namibijskich - tradycyjnych i współczesnych - które "Razzle Dazzle" śpiewa jako jedyny chór w Polsce! Na nagraniu usłyszycie: "Teleza pina" oraz "Mutahe Lutobina" Gideon Sifuba - muzyka z Namibii, "Dantani" muzyka: Engelhardt Unaeb - pieśń namibijska, "Sipiri" pieśń namibijska w języku Damara/Nama. These dynamic and talented singer...  moreThe SYC was formed in 1998, as children's choir singers grew and voices changed! This four part chorus (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) is devoted to music of all styles, including Classical, Broadway and Contemporary tunes. These dynamic and talented singers range in age from 14-25, and include young women in gr.11 and higher, and young men with changed voices. The SYC annually participates in the Family Christmas Concert, and choreographed year end show. They also stage an Orchestra concert each spring, which has presented pieces such as Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Requiems by Mozart, Faure, Rutter, and Daley, to name a few. This year, the SYC looks forward to singing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Youth Chorus joined the senior and chamber choirs in their 2009 tour to the UK. They were ecstatic to receive 8th place standing in the Mixed Voices category at a festival that boasts participants from over 50 different countries.
