In a dechristianized Netherlands, eighty men, including many Young people, may sing and spread the message of God's mercy for sinful people. The repertoire consists of psalms, Christian songs, an gospels in various languages ​​and classical choral works.

Chantage won the BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year competition in 2006, recorded live with Elbow at Abbey Road Studios in 2009 and is frequently featured on Classic FM and BBC radio. Chantage performs a wide range of repertoire, programming works traditionally performed by English chamber choirs alongside lesser known works sourced from foreign choral cultures. Chantage was formed in 1999 by its Musical Director James Davey, and quickly established itself in London as a stylish and energetic Young chamber choir. It draws singers from all over the country and from all walks of life. Strong commitment from its members has helped forge a growing reputation as an outstanding amateur choir with a national reputation. Les Chantres Musiciens’ repertoire is both varied and compl...  moreFounded in 1992 by their current Artistic Director Gilbert Patenaude, Les Chantres Musiciens is a choir of Young men aged 17 to 29 who hail from the celebrated Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal. Les Chantres Musiciens’ repertoire is both varied and complex, comprising a range of works from the Romantic period (including Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms) to Post-Romantic and modern compositions (including, for example, Schafer, Reger, Schönberg, and Langlais). The ensemble has earned a reputation for excellence, confirmed by prizes at national and international competitions, tours, and several distinguished recordings. Their first tour brought them through Germany and France, garnering critical and public acclaim, particularly at the Festival de Musique de Moselle. In 2007, the choir participated in the International Men’s Voice Festival in Pleyben. The text for the piece was written by Bartholomew Begley, a Dublin-based philosophy lecturer who works on philosophical translations of early modern Latin texts. The text 'Deus Ex Machina' tells the story of a suddenly and unexpectedly found God 'out of a machine.' The setting of the choir was very experimental – the aim was to take full advantage of the possibilities offered by the spatial, immersive sound. The choir sections were spread horizontally and vertically; therefore, the entire space around the listener was arranged. The visuals indicate the positions of the choir by points of light, whose brightness and movement were devised based on the sound energy of each of the choral sections.  less
