We rehearsed for most of The day in two-choir sections, with our four choral directors, Scott Inglis-Kidger, Sarah Tenant-Flowers, Riccardo Bonci and Jonny Davies. After lunch we began to put The sections togeTher. At 4pm we brought all 8 choirs togeTher and Scott Inglis-Kidger led a most thrilling final performance. The choir was established in 1996 (originally in The Lehava High School for Girls) by singer/choral conductor Nomi Teplow with The goal of bringing togeTher girls with musical ability to work on a highly professional level and produce a wide variety of vocal music. The choir is comprised of 25-30 girls from areas throughout Samaria ranging in age from 13-18 years. The Shir-El choir performs in concerts and at vocal conventions across The country bringing fine singing, rich harmonies and words of hope, faith and love of Israel to a broad range of audiences.
