AfterGlow's mission is to perform beautiful choral works of all genres with the highest level of Musicianship and emotional meaning. Musical genres performed by the chorus include Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, 21st Century, spirituals, pop, rock, R&B, and jazz. Both a cappella (traditional and contemporary) works as well as accompanied pieces are performed.  less

Primarily, we are singing in our parish here in Angat, Bulacan and using the talent that was given to us to serve God every sunday and any other liturgical celebrations. We are also being invited in some various events to perform.

Like most traditional male voice Choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. the Choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from West End showstoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral Music. the Choir has gained a reputation for doing many concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. the Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred Choirs in the Festival of Brass and Voices for cancer research UK. the Choir has made several tours both at home and abroad and has raised thousands of pounds for charity totaling nearly £3000 in the past year alone  less

In addition to a subscription concert series in Edmonton, the Choir performs regional concerts in surrounding Alberta centres, and runs a touring program of choral education for primary and secondary schools. Pro Coro has performed at the Toronto International Choral Festival (1994 and 2002), the 1988 Olympic Arts Festival, and Canadian Voices (2003 landmark series of concerts celebrating 50 years of professional choral singing in Canada and R. Critically acclaimed, and attracting capacity audiences, at the Edinburgh Fringe and elsewhere, the Choir is regularly invited to perform at prominent events and has been broadcast on BBC Radio (3, 4 and Scotland) and Classic FM. Cadenza’s most recent CD - Bright Star: Cadenza at Christmas – was reviewed in Classical Music Magazine and included in Breakfast on 3’s Advent Calendar in December 2013.
