The choir has a reputation for outstanding singing and enthusiastic engagement with its audiences. Its repertoire is wide, ranging from renaissance motets to contemporary choral pieces.

We aim to give two or three concerts each year, plus a Christmas concert of music and readings. We are based in the village of Rolleston-on-Dove near Burton-upon-Trent, and draw our members – numbering around 50 at present - from a wide area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire. The Voice Community Choir is based in Barnstaple, North Devon. We sing a cappella music, old and new and songs from around the world. The emphasis is on enjoyment of singing - and is open to ALL.

The choir makes occasional visits to other British churches and cathedrals, as well as an annual foreign tour, recent destinations have included USA, Mexico, Sweden, Thailand, Rome and Prague. Emmanuel College Choir has released a number of recordings, most recently a CD of works by the Edwardian composer E W Naylor, a former Organist and Honorary Fellow of the College.
