It's members represent the Multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's popuLation and include singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrounds. Singers from all walks of life, ranging in age from teens to octogenarians make up the membership of the group. The Chorale presents two major concerts each year, in addition to sponsoring a Community Chorus Festival and performing at care facilities and retirement homes. In past years they toured Hawaii's neighboring IsLands, Europe, Japan and China and are pLanning a trip to IreLand in the future. Membership in the Chorale is open to adult singers of the Oahu community. However, after this experience, which has included Many concerts in the region, participations in Choir Festivals in Italy and artistic exchanges with youth choirs from GerMany, Hungary, Spain, Denmark and the Czech Republic, our desire to continue singing and, of course, the joy which singing together gave us all made it obvious that the time had clearly come to establish a group which could allow us to continue our musical journey together.
