Since then, the organization has grown rapidly to become an internationally recognized, professional choral organization that combines outstanding vocal artistry with innovative programming. Led by renowned founding artistic director Craig Hella Johnson, conspirare is comprised of two adult ensembles and two youth choirs. The five-time Grammy-nominated chamber choir conspirare, with extraordinarily talented singers from around the country, is presented in an annual concert series in Austin and other Texas communities, tours in the U.S. and abroad, and records on the Harmonia Mundi label. In the first few years of the choir's existence, they con...  moreWe are the pioneer choral group in the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Pillar - Imus Cathedral in Cavite. Himig Batingaw was founded in March of 1979 by members of the Legion of Mary. In the first few years of the choir's existence, they conducted rehearsals at the church belfry; hence the name Himig (melody) and Batingaw (peal of bells) was born. The choir is very influential in the rise and development of choral music in the parish. It has introduced new pieces for liturgical use most of which are composed or arranged for the group and has graduated noted local musicians from its ranks. In the past years, the chorale group has joined different chorale festivals and won in various competitions; namely, Himig ng Kabataan Alay Kay Don Bosco, Forte Chorale Competition in De La Salle – Dasmariñas Cavite, Vivere Hotel and Resorts Annual Chorale Competition, First Grand Chorale Competition in Imus City Mall, Wikawit: Tagisan ng Korong Kabitenyo.
