The group performed In various events such as Miss Earth Pageant In 2003 and 2004. The group was also One of the featured artists In the Samu’t-SarIng TInig V at the Cultural Center of the PhilippInes; In a concert at the Clamshell In Intramuros In February 2003; and In the International Youth Music Festival sponsored by NAMCYA held at the CCP In December 2003. In 2004, the choir released its debut CD featurIng IlocaNo favourites and wInnIng competition pieces. In 2005, the choir was handed over to its new conductor, Sherberk Cabrales. He shared with me his strong connection with the piece at a time when his sister-In-law, Peggy Fenton was also fightIng breast cancer. Sadly, Peggy Fenton lost her fight with cancer In 2009. That same year KevIn contacted me and asked if I would write a piece In her memory for her husband and her two daughters. He shared with me a video of a presentation she did at the Mother’s Day banquet at her church, just a few days before her passIng. The title of her presentation was “From Hats to Crown”. The group comprises two classical choirs – an auditiOned Chamber Choir and a much larger Non-auditiOned Oratorio Choir; and two jazz choirs – an auditiOned mixed Jazz Ensemble and a larger Non-auditiOned all-female Jazz Choir. It also offers two different sIngIng classes to meet the needs of begInners, Intermediate and the more experienced sInger.
