The style of singing is more 'pop' than classical and The choice of music reflects this, with The repertoire including show-tunes, popular songs from The 1930s to today, as well as classic barbershop arrangements. There are strong links to musical Theatre in that most songs are choreographed, and performing skills are a key element in making a song work. We rehearse every Tuesday, 6:30pm-9:00pm, in central London between Kings Cross and St Paul's. We took Part of our rehearsal last night to honor Black History Month and celebrate The diversity of our Chorus. What better way to celebrate than with song. We chose "Oh Happy Day"' a late '60s gospel song with its roots from an 18th-century hymn.
