Their mission is to entertain, educate, unite and uplift Their audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence. Their philanthropic mission is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and The community. On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded Their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of The chorus. Requiem was later performed at The funerals and commemorative services of Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, and Frédéric Chopin.
