Renaissance, 19th century, modern choral music, pop, .... - we like nearly every theme and style. We try to use original languages and love to engage us in music which is not often heard. We go on stage in self-organized concerts, but perform in smaller occasions, too.

We are committed to building community through excellence in a cappella harmony, and we love to learn. We rehearse weekly to improve our vocal skills and build lasting friendships in the process. Although we have diverse backgrounds, our members thrive by working together to achieve shared goals. We sing a range of repertoire from jazz standards to 21st-century pop, barbershop to show tunes, but most importantly we sing a cappella. As well as entertaining audiences across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne we compete regularly in barbershop harmony competitions at a national level. We are a community of people who love to sing. There is a variety of ages and ability levels. Our goals are learning a variety of repertoire and connecting through music and singing together.

Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned!
