I have slipped The surly bonds of Earth And danced The skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined The tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung High in The sunlit silence. Hov’ring There, I’ve chased The shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air . . . Their philanthropic mission is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and The community. On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded Their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of The chorus.
