The TIP Choral Society is the official Chorale of Technological Institute of the Philippines consisting of select students and alumni singers from the different department choirs of Manila and Quezon City campuses.

We are specifically aimed at experienced singers who want to work quickly in a non-regular rehearsal setting. Imagine a Book Club for Choral singers! Each session every two or three weeks, we will look at a couple of new songs, chosen by differend members of the group, from the whole history of music, form Monvererdi to Madness. We have two experienced conductor/singers who will be happy to lead any session, but all singers will be encouraged to lead their own song choices if they wish. The aim, in the first intance, is to have fun exploring as much Choral repertoire as possible, in a fun and collaborative enviroment. We do not intend to book up Concerts straight away - once we've had a few meetings and looked at enough repertoire then we'll think about performances. Let's work to get the music right first! Its vision is to become the country's pr...  moreKORO ILUSTRADO, a Makati City-based all-male Choral ensemble, was formed in October 2007 by a group of Choral enthusiasts. It commits to significantly contribute to the nurturance of the country’s Choral tradition. Its vision is to become the country's premiere all-male Chorale, exemplifying the best of the Filipino: excellence, discipline and a flair for entertainment. Inspired by the global spirit and nationalistic dedication of the great ilustrado men during Spanish colonial times, the choir is slowly building a repertoire that includes the best of local and global all-male Choral music. A member of the Madz et al network of choirs, it is composed of men who had extensive Choral singing backgrounds through their college, church and community/parish choir experiences. Concerts are held in Ely Cathedral and other venues locally with professional soloists and orchestras, together with musicians from the Ely and Cambridge area. The Ely Youth Choir for 13 to 18 year olds was launched with great success in 2010 and is aimed at teenagers who want to experience the fun and excitement of Choral singing to public audiences.  less

Featuring a cast of over 44 singers In planning the narrative for this Concert, where possible, we named individual victims to lend identity to the anonymity of the masses. The Concert also reflected on modern conflicts with a special focus on the impact of war on ordinary innocent people -refugees, civilians, children and victims of the growth of modern slavery often associated with conflict. Featuring well loved songs of commemoration, peace, friendship and reconciliation, there was plenty of opportunity to join in, loudly and with meaning - and by being together, singing and making music . 300 plus people were part of what is happening amongst like minded people trying to bring Peace to Planet Earth at this very difficult and troubled time. songs include Robins song Singing out the days The French Prostitute ...    less

This 30-strong male choir aspires to the celebrated male Choral tradition and delights in exploring its infinite artistic depth. Under the leadership of Meng-Hsien Peng as conductor and artistic director since 2013, the choir has achieved prestige as one of the country’s foremost Choral groups. Throughout its seventeen years of existence, the Müller Chamber Choir has time and time again participated in international Choral events to expand its artistic vision. In 2007, led by maestro Julian Ching-Chun Su, the choir participated in the 23rd Takarazuka International Chamber Chorus Contest in Japan and took home a gold medal in the Folklore category and a silver medal in the Romantic category, placing second in the overall ranking.
