Elle est impressionnante. Un résultat et une interprétation de Calliope superbes, mais quel choc: malgré la musique, malgré les voix, malgré le texte, le temps semble être suspendu. Ou plutôt, on le voit passer sans pouvoir ni le maîtriser, ni en profiter. C'est une musique du vide mental, spirituel et même physique. Une musique du néant alors qu'on pressent que tant de choses se passent au-delà. Si c'est cela votre conception de l'enfermement carcéral, je ne veux jamais connaître la prison. It offers an opportunity to hear the very best in a long tradition of Welsh male voice singing. Cantorion was founded by Colin Jones in 1992 when he invited singers, who he knew and had taught and conducted previously in other choirs across North Wales, to join his new chorus. Since Colin and John Daniel's retirement, Aled Wyn Edwards has been able to match their skills in voice production and choral management with the enthusiasm and commitment of some of North Wales finest male choral singers and soloists and during the last 12 months has established a male chorus with a special sound and quality now recognised after its numerous tours and performances in many countries, worldwide.  less

O Concerto de Natal “A Little Jazz Mass” de Bob Chilcott tem como protagonistas o Coro Pactis e os Wave Jazz Ensemble que subiram ao palco do Centro Cultural e de Congressos de Angra do Heroísmo, no dia 20 de dezembro, para mostrar a articulação de dois p...  moreO Concerto de Natal “A Little Jazz Mass” de Bob Chilcott tem como protagonistas o Coro Pactis e os Wave Jazz Ensemble que subiram ao palco do Centro Cultural e de Congressos de Angra do Heroísmo, no dia 20 de dezembro, para mostrar a articulação de dois projetos distintos numa toada jazz em ambiente natalício. Trata-se de uma peça com cinco andamentos, escrita para o coro infantil New Orleans Children, aquando da participação no Crescent City Festival de New Orleans, em 2009. Fazem ainda parte da peça alguns clássicos de Natal como "Zat You Santa Claus", popularizado por Louis Armstrong; "Little Drummer Boy" ou "Silent Night" com arranjos próprios do quinteto. Enquanto o Coro Pactis tem Fátima Gonçalves na direção musical, o Wave Jazz Ensemble integra os músicos Rui Melo, Paulo Cunha, Paulo Borges, Nuno Pinheiro e Antonella Barletta.
