We are a non-denominational choral group that has been to many places across Nigeria since 1993, engaging in meaningful Musical activities. We have striven through tick and thorns, giving us better view of HARMONY, as the key to attaining great heights.

Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside college. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). We are interested in a close partnership with the other choirs outside Poland (exchange tours and joint appearances)  less

The BASC has been performing on a regular basis on each of Broadway Academy’s Showcase that is held at the end of each academic term. Performers of the BASC start from the age from age of 13 and to a maximum age of 28 years old. BASC performs according to a certain theme for each performance. This year for the BICF2018, the BASC has chosen the theme of Hamilton, from the award winning Broadway Musical Hamilton. BASC is under the vocal direction of Dr Casey Broadway and choreography under Ms Nana Eddy. The BASC is modeled after the American Show Choir whereby choristers have to undergo both vocal and choreography training. The choir has been invited to perform in New York, Los Angeles, Florida and Michigan. BASC hopes that the American Tour will be a reality soon. Recorded live on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Performed by the Lyric Choir ensemble of the Girl Choir of South Florida. Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Susan Dodd. Leonard Bernstein was on his honeymoon in 1951 when he began composing his one-act opera "Trouble in Tahiti", a candid portrait of the troubled marriage of a young suburban couple. This aria is sung by Dinah during Scene 3 where, in her analyst's office, she is seeking counseling - unbeknownst to her husband Sam - in an attempt to repair their deteriorating marriage. Dinah recalls a dream of an untended garden choked with weeds. In the dream she hears a voice calling to her describing a beautiful garden, a place of love and harmony, which she tries desperately to find. Her dream ends before she can find it.  less
