The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our Choir in Newcastle, but we now have Choirs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys C...  moreAs part of the Vocal Art Ensemble's "Inkspell--Choral Music Inspired by Masters of Poetry" concerts in May, 2012, this piece for treble chorus and piano by Jere Hutchinson sets e.e. cummings' whimsical poem. Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys Choir poise while making the most of the poems playful spookiness, so we elicited help from the men of the chorus to try and 'frighten' the women singing.  

This is the abridged version of "The 21st Century (A Girl Born in Afghanistan)," a setting for mixed Choir of excerpts from Kofi Annan's Nobel Peace Prize lecture. Performed by the Southwest Minnesota State University Chorale under Stephen Kingsbury.
