Since 1998, it has been gathering in Poznań young people from various universities - people who are musically talented, active and open to new friendships and exchange of cultural experiences. the Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology performed at the Second Gala Concert of the 16th edition of the festival. the concert was held in the Adam Mickiewicz University Aula, known for its excellent acoustics. the choir performed among distinguished performers such as the Academic Choir of Warsaw University, the Academic Choir of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the Choir of Mahidol University from Thailand, and the percussion duo of Piotr and Bartłomiej Sutt.  less

Directed by David Skinner, Alamire has embarked on an ambitious ten year 30-disc project to record a library of early English Choral music. Skinner’s performing editions will be published by Edition Peters. He is also guest blogger on renaissance repertoire for Eric Whitacre.

Entre Los estrenos realizados por el coro, se destacan: Kyrie de Andrés Milá Prats y Ave María de Juan Guerra, presentadas en el Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires, durante 2003, año en el que también se estrena el Kyrie de Gastón Sznajderhaus. En 2005, el coro realiza la primera presentación de la obra en tres movimientos para coro y orquesta El jardín y el pantano del compositor Juan CarLos Figueiras, en el marco del ciclo Grandes Conciertos que tuvo lugar en el auditorio de la Facultad de Derecho de la UBA.
