With approximately 100-115 auditioned members and a professional core of 12 Voices,The choir's repertoire spans 6+ centuries . In addition to our annual subscription series, we sing with both The National Arts Centre Orchestra and The Ottawa Symphony Orchestra . The choir has made five international tours to Italy, Spain, Germany and The Czech Republic and The United Kingdom and Ireland . Following an extensive search which attracted a roster of highly- accomplished choral directors, The impressive and charismatic young conductor and keyboard artist, Jordan de Souza, was appointed Artistic Director and Principal Conductor in July, 2013. Pacifica Singers provides an ideal performance venue for experienced and motivated choral singers whose goal is to make music at a very high level. By providing direct exposure to The world of professional music making, it is an experience of great value for singers intending to make a career in music. It was officially inaugurated in September 2011 and was widely attended by thousands of choral music lovers across The country. The group has performed at numerous high profile functions like The international leadership awards night (tuzoya oungozi), national peace makers rally at The national Theater among oThers. The group also embarked on a nationwide peace campaign tour which was dubbed "11.11.12 - Sing Ghana 4 peace". The choir is noted for music evangelism and charity projects in Ghana.
