The translation is by Francesco Campelli on CPDL The performance was created in memory of The late Richard Gofton, who introduced me to The music back in 1976 (Our Strasbourg choir Psalterion performed it at that time)

Yet our passion of singing joins us every week to rehears interesting and rarely performed music. With passion and great ambition, music and literature from all over The world comes sensually alive. The focus of our music is located in The Baltic region. Of course! Our cherished and beloved conductor Arūnas Pečiulis is from Lithuania. In 2016 we released our first own CD "Christmas in Orange" with traditional and extraordinary Christmas songs from all over The world. We are also represented with a total of three pieces on The CDs „Salzburg singt 2 - Advent" and „Salzburg singt 3 - Adventkalender" of The Salzburg Choir Association. In 2017 we made our first big trip abroad to Lithuania and Latvia, in 2018 we were one of only two „non-Lithuanian“ choirs to take part in The Lithuanian song festival „Dainų šventė“ in Vilnius. Every year, The choir perform around twenty concerts throughout Cumbria, raising thousands of pounds for charitable organisations and oTher worthy causes.
