The Choir, which has a membership of around 30 Voices, was formed in 2007 by its Musical Director, Sheila Farmer. A Cappella is a touring Choir, having visited Prague and France, and hoping to make a tour to Spain in The near future. The choir rehearses every oTher Saturday morning, between 10 a.m. and noon.

Yet our passion of singing joins us every week to rehears interesting and rarely performed music. With passion and great ambition, music and literature from all over The world comes sensually alive. The focus of our music is located in The Baltic region. Of course! Our cherished and beloved conductor Arūnas Pečiulis is from Lithuania. In 2016 we released our first own CD "Christmas in Orange" with traditional and extraordinary Christmas songs from all over The world. We are also represented with a total of three pieces on The CDs „Salzburg singt 2 - Advent" and „Salzburg singt 3 - Adventkalender" of The Salzburg Choir Association. In 2017 we made our first big trip abroad to Lithuania and Latvia, in 2018 we were one of only two „non-Lithuanian“ choirs to take part in The Lithuanian song festival „Dainų šventė“ in Vilnius. They take Their name after Bruce Springsteen’s album The Seeger Sessions, since Their first concert took place at a lecture on American Folk Music when Springsteen was touring Italy in 2006. In 2011 They published Their first CD, Songs of Freedom, a collection of protest songs with a strong connection to The Civil Rights Movement. In 2015 TSV published Their first original single, “Graces (Dropping Again)” written by ZogaroS. In 2017 TSV will release a concept album of 16 songs and vocal interludes composed and produced by all The girls. “Broken Dream”, written by Chiara Cortez and Emanuele Jorma Gasperi, is The first single published to launch The record.  less

The choir was formed in 2002 under The dir...  moreThe Vision of Peace Youth Choir are a group of singers from The ages of 13-30 who use Their Voices to expres Their belief in Toil and Peaceful Life and The Welfare of The World is not Worth The Life of one Child! The choir was formed in 2002 under The directorship of Ellie Davidoff. Choir membership consists of youth from The 8th grade through to college age students. Now in Their 13th season, this choir has grown in membership as well as experience. There are still several original members, and every season They are joined by Their younger siblings and new friends, who add strength and spirit to The group. The repertoire of The Vision of Peace Youth Choir consists of hymns and folk songs sung in The traditional Doukhobor acapella style that has been passed from generation to generation for over 200 years. The hymns and folk songs as well as The contemporary numbers in Their program selection reflect Their Doukobor beliefs as well as Their steadfast wish for a peaceful existence on this earth.  less
