From its beginning it has been affiliated with ZAMEK Culture Centre. Experienced and respected pedagogues-musicians look after the Musical development of the girls and artistic program. The Choir is conducted and creatively inspired by its Artistic Director and Conductor Alicja Szeluga, an educator and choral music aficionado. The Vocal Coach Marzena Michałowska, and accompanying pianist Czesław Łynsza, as well as percussionist Beata Polak complete the Musical team. The SKOWRONKI Girls Choir also has programs for younger groups. The ensemble is consists of 140 girls aged between 6 and 22. The singers of the choir are secondary school students as well as students from universities of Poznań. The group’s repertoire rediscovers and promotes works of various composers from different periods as well as performs pieces commissioned especially for the choir. Members of the choir are auditioned, multi-generational, and range in age from 17 to senior citizens. Performance music includes a wide variety of Musical styles. Performances take place in local churches, theaters, etc. The Chorale programs two rehearsal and concert seasons each year. Artistic Director & Conductor Jan Lanterman and Associate Conductor Jason Nett conduct rehearsals and performances.

The choir performs songs from pop, Musical theatre and film and, alongside our experienced choir director, is run by a professional vocal coach to ensure all members are learning good supported singing at the same time as the songs.

On its first attempt at ...  moreFormally organized in August 2006, the Ars Cantica Ensemble is a choral group composed of young professionals from different university choirs who want to spread the Word of God through Musical talent and commitment to service. On its first attempt at competitions in 2007, the group won Second Runner-Up in the prestigious PAGCOR Chorale Festival and was chosen as one of the top five winners in the Paskong Himig sa Lungsod ng PASIG Chorale Competition. In December 2007, the Ars Cantica Ensemble was featured at the Opening Ceremonies of the Amazing European Union Christmas held at The Podium, Ortigas and was one of the choirs invited to grace the Sing For Me Project of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. In February 2010, Ars Cantica Ensemble emerged as one of the winners in Sa ‘Yo Lamang Chorale Fest, a choral competition sponsored by ABS-CBN and Star Records.
