The Girl Choir of South Florida is the premier singing ensemble for young women in the tri-county area. The Girl Choir, led by Artistic Director Wallis Peterson, has been extolled by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as “imaginative, accessible, expressive, and entertaining”, gaining a reputation for delivering compelling concert programming. The Girl Choir’s repertoire is broad, from ancient to modern, classical to popular, sacred to secular, and folk to Broadway, encompassing many cultures, faiths, and traditions. Over the past seven seasons, the Girl Choir has commissioned and premiered works by noted choral composers, including Eleanor Daley, Bob Chilcott, and David Brunner. Some youth Beatwaves interviewed disclosed that they preferred Music that would make them dance and that choral Music sometimes was boring. Nonetheless, there is a group of youth who have come together to form a choir which has made a mark both at home and abroad. The Winneba Youth Choir, known to be the number one choral Music group in the country was founded in May 1989, under the patronage of Mr. George Mensah-Essilfie and Mr. John Francis Arthur-Yamoah (Paa John). The choir has progressed steadily to the extent that it is now recognized as the most outstanding youth choir of the nation. Wir präsentieren euch zusammen mit den Blechbläsern von Pro Brass Limburg nun unsere eigene spezielle Version von "Rosanna". Das Bläserarrangement stammt von Rob Baltus, unserem Tenor, während unser Chorleiter und Groove Master Andrea Figallo das Arrangement für den Chor beisteuerte. Sämtliche Illustrationen inkl.
