We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere and the quality of our singing. We are let by Will Welsford who gives his considerable experience to help us find our best voices. We sing everything from madrigals to musicals, folk to funk and have a great time doing it! Always open to new members, particularly sopranos at the moment!

Members won't need to be able to read music but they will need to be able to sing in tune. Members won't need to be able to read music but they will need to be able to sing in tune. We aren't charging a fee but we'll ask for donations to cover the cost of using the building and we'll find a way to fund the sheet music. Anything from your favourite musicals, Gospel, 80’s ballads, 90’s RnB and obviously, Disney! I’m sorry, but if you don’t like Disney, you just can’t join! LOL! Childcare is always difficult and expensive. With MumSing, you can bring your children with you. Just make sure they have their favourite toy and snacks. Our MumSing sessions are not only during the day. We also have evening sessions as well

The ensemble has been in residence at The Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch since 2003. Polyhymnia's singers are drawn from many sources, including some of the finest church choirs in New York Since 2000, director John Bradley has been creating original editions of music for the ensemble, some of it secreted in manuscript collections since the 16th century. Working in concert with libraries, liturgical historians and institutions, Polyhymnia hopes to both preserve and reintroduce choral masterworks of the Renaissance and early Baroque in ways that both entertain and elucidate. In addition to the concert series, the ensemble's unique relationship with Saint Ignatius of Antioch, a forerunner in the preservation of historical liturgy, provides opportunities to perform Renaissance and Baroque music in a liturgical context, while fostering musical ...    less
