Started out as a small group...  moreOne Voice Engineering Chorale is one of University of Santo Tomas' (UST) College-based choirs. Housed in the Faculty of Engineering, members are composed of students from the different Engineering and Computer Departments. Started out as a small group of Young Engineering students in 1976, the group now is currently the UST-Engineering's pride. Under the baton of Mr. Ronald Raz, the chorale has been able to earn places in the annual University Competitions. Even until now, the group has been maintaining a position in the top college choirs of the University. The chorale is not only known for their repertoire ranging from sacred music to mellow pop, they are also known for their acapella renditions of up beat pop music. They are also engaged in rendering their music not only to the school community but also in other events that may be requested.  less

Our repertoire embraces operatic and lighter music alongside classical choral works, with orchestra, from Bach to Bernstein, and a wide range of a cappella repertoire, which we have also toured abroad. Our second CD was released in November 2009. A friendly choir of 60-70 Singers, we give four main local concerts a year and enjoy touring. Since 2002, our concert tours have included Lake Garda, Venice, Umbria, Tuscany, Kraków, Amiens and Ghent. In the UK we have performed at the London Coliseum (2006), Ely Cathedral (2007), the Southbank Centre (2010) and Winchester Cathedral (2011).  less

The ensemble’s repertoire includes great choral works and new works by living composers. CMS performs unaccompanied, and also collaborates with professional instrumentalists and soloists.
