Known for fun, musical diversity and standing room only concerts, we celebrate all genres of music from old School gospel, to current uplifting pop, to civil rights anthems, to traditional songs from nations all over the world. 60 voices strong, the Universal Gospel Choir is an open, justice-oriented group celebrating the best of choral music and committed to lifting and inspiring the human spirit.

The Paros Chamber Choir's international performances have included Lebanon, Georgia, Great Britain, Italy, France and most recently their 2011 performances in Austria and Slovakia. Since its inception, the Paros Chamber Choir has participated in several international competitions and has truly become a lighthouse or beacon (Paros translated in Armenian) for The Armenian Nation. Past audiences find themselves inspired and overjoyed with the sounds of the Paros Chamber Choir. Despite the fact that most of the Choir's members have a disability and sing from a seated position, working with Maestro Raffi Mikaelian, the group has developed into a world-class Chamber Choir. Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of the Wonderboom High School Choir to continue singing together after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age. The choir has toured and performed across South Africa during the past 30 years and has an established reputation as a warm, friendly and “no-fuss” group with good choral sound who are just as comfortable performing at nursing homes and other charitable events as they are performing alongside the best choirs in the world on International stages, for instance, at the 10th World Choir Games in 2018, where they took home a silver medal (79.5%) in the champion’s category for mixed adult choirs.
