We Annually we perform two large Concerts with professional soloiSts and orcheStral musicians in Carlow, ‘Glory of ChriStmas’ in the National Concert Hall and annual ‘ChriStmas Crackers’ family Concert in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow. We have a remarkable repertoire of many choral works such as Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. Mathews & St. John Passion, Verdi’s Requiem, Haydn’s The Creation & Seasons, Brahm’s Requiem & many more. We sing at home & abroad. In November 2011 the choir recorded a ChriStmas CD. New members are welcome. We rehearse in St. Patrick’s College, Carlow Monday nights from 7.45-10pm. Like moSt traditional male voice choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. The choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from WeSt End showStoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral music. The Choir has gained a reputation for doing many Concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. The Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred choirs in the FeStival of Brass and Voices for cancer research UK.
