MYC brings together a membership of almost 400 families and offers youth between the ages of seven and 18 the opportunity to participate in eleven separate Choral groups. Focused on drawing connections between music and the greater world, the program offers choristers musical and social education opportunities through weekly rehearsals, annual Concerts, and music retreats. The choir sings an eclectic mix of pop cLassics, show songs, spirituals and contemporary pieces. We love what we do and we also love to use our singing to contribute to the Community of Southend by performing regularly within the town and by raising money for local charities. We have represented Southend further afield with performances at Dublin's Guinness Storehouse and Union Chapel, London.
