We uphold the tradition and art of male choral singing through the camaraderie of choral membership and in entertaining our audiences. We give our own concerts several times a year in Norwich and beyond, as well as appear at events by invitation. We were Special Guests of 'The People's Soprano' Rebecca Newman at her 2012 and Spring 2016 tour Norwich appearances and we put up a team to challenge the Eggheads for quiz supremacy! We also hold Open Rehearsals at the beginning of each singing season when we invite adult gentlemen to see whether male choral singing is for them, or just to see our singing men at work! Elle est impressionnante. Un résultat et une interprétation de Calliope superbes, mais quel choc: malgré la musique, malgré les voix, malgré le texte, le temps semble être suspendu. Ou plutôt, on le voit passer sans pouvoir ni le maîtriser, ni en profiter. C'est une musique du vide mental, spirituel et même physique. Une musique du néant alors qu'on pressent que tant de choses se passent au-delà. Si c'est cela votre conception de l'enfermement carcéral, je ne veux jamais connaître la prison. Cantorion was founded by Colin Jones in 1992 when he invited singers, who he knew and had taught and conducted previously in other choirs across North Wales, to join his new chorus.
