The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are Music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

The Choir unites more than 60 singers, who have extensive singing experience in various Choirs in Lithuania, and whose desire is to have quality leisure time and enjoy one of life’s most pleasant activities – singing. Their goal is to sing different styles of Music and work with various other groups, present high quality Musical projects, as well as take part in competitions and Festivals in Lithuania and abroad. On December 1, 2013, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius rocked the country’s choral Music scene and accomplished unthinkable. During the fourth year of its existence, the Choir won the Lithuania’s major National Choral Competition, thus becoming the best volunteer Choir in the country. Each Musical season of „LELIUMAI“ is designated to performances of Choir Music to the listeners in cities and towns in Lithuania, extraordinary Festivals and meetings with the Choirs abroad, unforgetable participation in Lithuanian Song Festivals. During its history „LELIUMAI“ has been awarded the highest titles in national Choir competitions in Lithuania, has won the third prize at the international Choir competition in Ireland (Cork) in 1983.
