We provide music for all occasions, such as private parties, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays, etc., with a varied repertoire in the style of The Manhattan Transfer, New York VOICES, The Real Group, Singers Unlimited, The Swingle Singers, Take Six and others. Clearly Vocal was selected as one of seven groups to compete in the 2010 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes in Denver, Colorado. As winners of the 2010 Contemporary A Cappella League Showcase, Clearly Vocal was a featured group at the SoJam A Cappella Festival in Durham, North Carolina, November 12 & 13, 2010.  less

Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis (Book of Common Prayer version 1662) set to music for six part mixed VOICES SAT-SAT) The title of this work (Canticula Ursae Minoris/Songs of the Little Bear) comes from the origin of the melodies: Many years ago I wrote a...  moreMagnificat and Nunc Dimittis (Book of Common Prayer version 1662) set to music for six part mixed VOICES SAT-SAT) The title of this work (Canticula Ursae Minoris/Songs of the Little Bear) comes from the origin of the melodies: Many years ago I wrote an "Oratorio" based on Winnie the Pooh (The Expotition to the North Pole) and gave each character little melodic leitmotifs, such as "Sing ho for the life of a bear" (which becomes "to be a light to lighten the Gentiles" in the Nunc Dimittis), "They all went off to discover the pole" (which is the initial theme of the Magnificat) and "What I say, said Eeyore, is that it's unsettling" (which becomes the "Glory be to the Father" section at the end of each canticle) The original and much simpler "oratorio" work, called Poohratorio of course, may be published once AA Milne goes into public domain (2031).  less

It is a chamber choir dedicated to European Vocal music from the nineteenth century onwards. As its director, Pierre Louis Godeberge has given with the Groupe Vocal GYMEL numerous concerts in Paris and its metropolitan area, in Champagne-Ardennes, Touraine and Normandy. He has conducted both religious and secular a cappella repertoires, notably Slavic and Church slavonic music. He has also premièred works by French contemporary composers (Bicalho, Maillé, Anders). In 2007, the Ensemble was finalist at the national competition of the Florilège Vocal of Tours.  less
