SINGERS: Valley Chamber Chorale members are talented singers committed to a high standard of performance. Just as our concerts display a dynamic diversity in programming and instrumentation, so do our singers reflect marvelous variety. Our members are educators and students, physicians and attorneys, stay-at-home moms, clergy, pilots, corporate executives and professional musicians. Some have sung with the Chorale for more than 30 years – some have sung just a year. Chorale members tend to be actively involved in the community and sing with the group as a way to share the gift of music with our St. Croix Valley audiences. Hymns and other song ministration were handled by Gospel Dynamics in the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Local of the Union. Some GHAMSU members of the 2003/2004 year group who were also part of Gospel Dynamics then thought it wise to establish a choir because the feel of Methodism was missing in the Union. It all started when Brother Ernest Morgan Acquah, Brother Ebenezer Edem Beble, Brother Charles Aaron Adams Ekuban and Brother Fredrick Amissah usually meet in the evenings to sing hymns. These brothers decided to establish a choir in GHAMSU. The then executives did not want to accept the decision of forming a choir simply because they thought the Union was doing alright with Gospel Dynamics. Through dedication and hard-work, The Harmonious Chorale has carved for itself a niche and an identity which has provided mentoring opportunity for many choral groups in and outside Ghana, staging over thirty five (35) well executed and attended concerts in Ghana alone. In 2018, Harmonious Chorale became Champions of the World Choir Games (Category C28) during its maiden participation in Tshwane, South Africa. Each season we perform choral mast...  moreThe Nashoba Valley Chorale is a mixed-voice chorus with 90+ members based in Littleton, Massachusetts. Our singers come together from a wide range of towns in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each season we perform choral masterworks with professional soloists and a professional orchestra. We have recently performed: the Mozart Requiem, the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carmina Burana, Ola Gjeilo Dark Night of The Soul, and currently rehearsing the Verdi Messa Da Requiem under the artistic leadership of conductor Anne Watson Born. We love making great music together, and we work hard in rehearsals to bring an expressive and thrilling sound to our performances. We are a jovial and friendly group of people from all walks of life who enjoy singing together.  less
