We are girls who become like family through our shared passion for music. Each member auditioned by our Choirmaster, andre van der Merwe, and attends Stellenberg High School. Our repertoire consists mainly of Gospel, Acapella, Classical, Folk/Ethnic, and Sacred music. We compete in various national and international competitions and strive to share beautiful music with The world while being cultural ambassadors for our country. Achievements: - Overall winners of The "ATKV Nasionale Applous-kompetisie" for 12 times (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). - In 2002 They won The category for Women's Choirs at The Llangollen International Eisteddfod in Wales. - In 2004, we were awarded The highest percentage for any Choir at The World Choir Olympics. - In 2006 we won The much acclaimed Choir of The World trophy in Llangollen Wales. ...    less

In The summer of 2011, HKVC held Their debut Concert “Sing Out a Dream” in The Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall to raise funds to support The charitable work of The Lions Club of Central. In 2012, The chorus organized and performed five shows of a grand scale original Youth Choral musical “Like. So?”. Alla Polacca Children and Youth Choir is affiliated with The Teatr Wielki/Grand Theatre - Polish National Opera in Warsaw. The Choir consists of 200 choristers performing in four age groups. The Choir was founded three decades ago by Sabina Wlodarska, a recognized music educator and student of maestro Stefan Stuligrosz.
