The Chamber Choir sings a varied repertoire of classical liturgical and secular music from The Renaissance to The present, as well as arrangements of spirituals and songs from around The world, Israeli and Jewish music, and more. The Choir performs regularly in churches and Concert spaces in Jerusalem and around Israel and has performed in festivals and programs in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, The United States, and Switzerland.
The Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir is an unaffiliated Choir whose membership spans The religious/secular and political divide in Israeli society. The Choir accepts members without discrimination as to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, or political affiliation. The Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 Choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and The Senior Surrey Children's Choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber Choir, a mixed young adult chorus... moreThe Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 Choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and The Senior Surrey Children's Choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber Choir, a mixed young adult chorus, and a community adult chorus.
The Junior and Intermediate Training Choirs (JTC and ITC) provide a program of sequentially developed skills which prepare choristers for admission into The Surrey Children's Choir. The training Choirs perform annually at The Family Christmas Concert and Year End Concert (held in May of each year). They also often compete at The Fraser Valley Kiwanis Music Festival, always with great results. The training Choirs may also perform at various events in The community.
