Among the many figures carved on medieval cathedrals, one may find examples of foliate heads—a figure in which leafy foliage sprouts and elaborately ornaments a frieze, façade, or column. This figure is known as "The Green Man" and was mainly a northern European and Celtic symbol of the regeneration of life, a symbol of May, and the return of spring. He decided to call this one-man choir the dwsChorale. The range is bottom bass D to top alto e. Most recordings were done between 2005 and 2009. Only time will tell whether the dwsChorale will be revived, but David keeps composing anyway, so who knows....
