"Gürcü Sanat Evi Çok Sesli Korosu", 20...  moreGürcü Sanat Evi Çok Sesli Korosu olarak İTÜ MIAM ev sahipliğinde 10 Ocak 2016 Pazar günü Cemal Reşit Rey Konser Salonu'nda gerçekleştirilen, birbirinden değerli koroların katıldığı Korolar Maratonu'nda yer aldık. "Gürcü Sanat Evi Çok Sesli Korosu", 2011 yılında açılışı yapılan Gürcü Sanat Evi ( GSE ) bünyesinde, "çok sesli koro atölyesi" kapsamında oluşturulmuştur. İlk yıllarında ( 2012 - 2013 ), 12 kişilik "Gürcü Sanat Evi Çok Sesli Kadınlar Korosu"; daha sonra ( 2013 - 2014 ) 15 kişilik "Gürcü Sanat Evi Çok Sesli Karma Koro" kuruldu. Bu üç koronun tamamı, geleneksel çok sesli müzik karakterine sahip olan ve de UNESCO'nun "İnsanlığın sözlü ve manevi mirasının bir başyapıtı" olarak saptadığı Gürcü Halk Müziğini repertuarlarında bulundurmaktadır. Ayrıca, geleneksel çok sesli Kafkas ( Çerkes, Abhaz, Laz, Çeçen, İnguş, Osetin vd. ) halk şarkılarını da icra etmektedirler. Our Choir also participated in a combined Concert with Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA and last fall we were chosen to be a part of a larger ensemble to sing in Rome, Italy, performing at The Vatican.
