We're a group of about 20 men & women, and sing in 3 or 4 (or more) part harmony. Quorum Love to raise money for local causes - covering all sorts of charities, in all sorts of venues. Quorum Singers of St Albans has been singing for over 25 years, and perform around 3 times a year in St Albans or locally in Hertfordshire. We rehearse once a week on Wednesdays, throughout the term time, and can often be found performing in Christopher Place around Christmas time!  less

Renaissance, 19th century, modern choral music, pop, .... - we like nearly every theme and style. We try to use original languages and Love to engage us in music which is not often heard. We go on stage in self-organized concerts, but perform in smaller occasions, too.

Although we have diverse backgrounds, our members thrive by working together to achieve shared goals. We sing a range of repertoire from jazz standards to 21st-century pop, barbershop to show tunes, but most importantly we sing a cappella. As well as entertaining audiences across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne we compete regularly in barbershop harmony competitions at a national level. We are a community of people who Love to sing. There is a variety of ages and ability levels. Our goals are learning a variety of repertoire and connecting through music and singing together.

The Spinnakerettes reach a new high in 2014. Presenting their best performance to date: The girls were very happy to come home to Portsmouth with a 5th place medal. Hooray!!!
