We are an auditioning, non-professional Chamber Choir, performing a diverse programme of repertoire at regular intervals throughout the year. We draw our Membership from the hugely successful EC4 Music, a Choir and orchestra that is widely regarded as one of the leading large amateur groups in London, and it is from this platform of success that CCoV takes its lead.
EC4 Music recently performed at the Barbican for the fifth time, raising money for the Prince’s Trust and is also very excited to be making its Royal Festival Hall debut in October this year to mark the grand finale of the Lord Mayor's Appeal 2011. Lord Mayor, Michael Bear's appeal supports children’s charity Coram and RedR, a charity that trains and provides engineers and other relief workers to respond to worldwide emergencies. the celebratory all-English programme concludes with Walton's stunning Belshazzar's Feast. We have been travelling together since we were kids as Members of the Children’s Choir of Polygyros. It’s been at least 15-20 years now that we have participated in numerous festivals and concerts all over Greece but also all over Europe.
In 2005, as adults, we decided to establish this particular group with the assistance of the Children’s Choir. We have given concerts in Hungary, in several cities in Greece and especially in Chalkidiki.
In 2011 new Members have been included in the group and we have changed our name into “THAMYRIADES”.
Our repertory extends from classical to rock, pop and musical. You will have the opportunity to listen to us in selected halls.

He competed against them and lost. As punishment for his presumption they blinded him, and took away his ability to make poetry and to pla... less
