They are every man in the street but with one thing in common,they love to sing and entertain.The choir is renowned for there entertainment value as well as there singing. No venue is too small or too big.The choir regularly sings for charitable organisations and has over the years raised several thousands of pounds. Musical Director Judith Pinguey prides herself on the varied music the choir sings and has a very progressive outlook on MVC Music and likes to challange the pre concieved image of a male voice choir.  less

Proceeds from the event were in aid of the Weston Hospicecare charity which celebrates its 25th birthday this year. This video is a recording of one of our solo items.

The exceptional abilities of its members enables the choir to choose from a wide selection of repertoire, indeed. Whether it’s church music that you’re after, a powerful performance of contemporary music, enjoying short outtakes from Italian films accompanied by renditions of Italian bar music from the 1500’s until nowadays, or you just can’t resist an insightful staging of the works of Hungarian composer-giants, Liszt and Bartok, needless to say, you shall always be in for a treat with the Saint Ephraim male choir.  less

En la...  moreLa Escolanía María Auxiliadora (EMA) es un coro de voces blancas que nace en 1997 en el Colegio María Auxiliadora (Salesianas) de Cádiz por iniciativa de Antonio Hernández Asencio, profesor de música del centro y director musical desde su fundación. En la actualidad sus componentes vienen desde distintos centros escolares, institutos y facultades. En sus ya 18 años de historia la EMA ha participado en multitud de concursos, encuentros y congresos con coros de todo el mundo y ha sido invitada a colaborar en galas y proyectos benéficos. Tuvieron especial relevancia los encuentros nacionales en Guadix (Granada), Toledo, Oviedo y Murcia, así como los congresos internacionales en Granada, Estocolmo, Roma y París. En julio de 2012 realizó una intensa gira de siete conciertos en la región de Aveyron (Francia), en abril de 2013 fue invitada al I Festival Internacional de Coros en Casablanca (Marruecos) y en 2014 al Festival Internacional de Canto Coral en Tánger. Pittch Please now provides fraternal solidarity for its members, sentimental commemorations for its alumni, and musical excellence for the Pittsburgh community.
