Since 2008 the St. Lawrence Choir has been under the direction of Michael Zaugg. The Swiss-born musician has distinguished himself as an innovative and versatile conductor on the Canadian choral scene. Active as artistic director, guest conductor, pedagogue and clinician, Michael Zaugg brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his work.
St. Lawrence Choir was formed in 1972 by Iwan Edwards and a group of singers residing in the West Island of Montreal. Concerts were presented in Lachine until 1983 when the Choir relocated to downtown Montreal. The choirs are famous in Kingston and beyond for joyful concerts full of non-traditional staging, diverse repertoire and singing demonstrating great skill and enthusiasm. Cantabile now includes six choirs and over 250 voices, performing music which engages and entertains at every event.
From the beginning, Cantabile has provided musical education for choristers and audiences through this high standard of performance and quality choral literature.

Singers in this ensemble demonstrate a high level of commitment to choral singing and to sharing this art with audiences at home and around the world. The Chamber Choir forms the core of Cantilon’s touring and recording program and participates in many exciting and unique activities throughout the year.
The Chamber Choir performs locally in concert at least four times per season, and competes in music festivals at local, provincial and national levels. The Chamber Choir generally follows a three-year touring cycle: a regional tour in year one, national tour in year two, and an international tour every third year. In addition to its regular concert series, the Chamber Choir is often invited to perform with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton Opera and the Richard Eaton Singers. less

Hailing from Toronto Canada, the Powerhouse Fellowship Soul Choir is a group of talented teens and young adults with a passion and goal to change lives though music. Fondly referred to as POWERHOUSE, the choir was formed in 1986 for a church building fund program. In 1988 the choir was officially founded and directed under the leadership of Shawn Cotterell. With thirty-five voices and a multi-talented band, the choir’s repertoire ranges from hip-hop, reggae, traditional and contemporary gospel.
The director and founder of this anointed choir is Shawn Cotterell. Shawn Cotterell’s first musical experience began at the age of seven singing in a church choir. By the age of twelve, Shawn answered the call of God on his life and began organizing the Powerhouse Fellowship Soul Choir. Having a love for music, Cotterell's professional musical experience included recording background vocals for Sesame Street fame-Bob Mcgrath, Canadian Folk singer Rita MacNeil, and Sharon, Lois and Bram. This auditioned mixed voice adult choir performs a an impressive repertoire of music ranging from symphonic classical to modern favourites under the direction of Maestro, David Holler. Uniquely, the Chorus is backed by its own "Concert Players Orchestra" and is a non-profit corporation operating in partnership with the Media Studies Program at Fanshawe College. This organization has achieved its world class status through its adherence to excellence, and the diligence of individual choristers and continues to grow in quality each season. The London Fanshawe Symphonic Chorus organization is also a two time winner of the Ontario Lieutenant-Governor's Award for the Arts for fiscal responsibility and innovative programming. less
