For years, the ensemble has used an arrangement of Irish Blessing to welcome new members and bid farewell to graduating seniors. After nearly two decades of performing the same version, my former high school director, Matt Wanner, reached out to me in 2026 with the opportunity to create a new arrangement of this cherished tradition. In writing this setting, I sought to create something both accessible and meaningful, while providing opportunities to feature students, whether graduating seniors or gifted soloists, in a special way. It is my hope that this arrangement will become a meaningful part of the ensemble’s tradition and hold a special place in the hearts of its members for many years to come.  less

Please SHARE! Help us get the word out how important it is to sign up to be a donor. 50 Cantores Celestes members Sang on Sat Nov 23rd for their friend and chorister sister, Monica Parfitt who has been at the Toronto General Hospital for 6 months awaiting for a heart donation. We Sang for her and her family on Sat morning so she could be surrounded by our love and the music she loves. This audio was taken from a simple iphone but the message comes through none the less. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Monica is very special.  less

We Sang this chorus from Smetana's The Bartered Bride everywhere, from concert halls to churches, outdoor settings to overheated rehearsal rooms. We did it so, that the 21st of September, we could join our voices to all those thousand of choirs and choral singers that are singing for the peace within the OneDayOneChoir initiative. El pasado junio, en el Festival de fin de curso de los Coros Escolares de Voces Blancas del Nalón, preparamos y cantamos nuestra interpretación de la pieza The New One Day One Choir Song.
