Every day I think of her because she was a great angel in my career. She opened the doors to Europe for me and helped me a lot to grow my career. She was also the musical godmother of hundreds of people to whom with Epilogi she gave education and showed them a passion. She organized festivals that boosted the culture of choral music in Europe and also did everything with unparalleled energy and joy. Abramek was born in 1930 in Lodz, PoLand, and died 1944...  moreProgram Notes: The fact that the text for this work even exists is a miracle. It was written by Abraham ("Abramek") Koplowicz, a Jewish boy who was exterminated by the Nazis during the Holocaust. Abramek was born in 1930 in Lodz, PoLand, and died 1944 in the infamous concentration camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau. He wrote this poem during the time that his family was trapped in the Lodz ghetto. This poem was not found until 1983 when Eliezer ("Lolek") Grynfeld, the poet's half-brother, discovered it among their late father's belongings. Choristers who sing this work will be transported on a magical flight around the world through time and space along with their audiences.  less

Con los nervios a fl...  more"I Dreamed a Dream " tomó un significado especial, en el que fue nuestro primer concierto con obras completamente nuevas para el coro. Nuestro sueño no hace falta soñarlo en pasado, lo soñamos cada vez que nos subimos a un escenario. Con los nervios a flor de piel, que se notaron, por los estrenos, desgranamos cada una de las obras, nuevas , frescas, como todo aquello que escribe , compone, o en donde "mete la mano" Sergio Rodríguez , nuestro director. Dejarse llevar por sus gestos, le da otro significado a la palabra "cantar". Muchas gracias al ISTIC ( Instituto Superior de Teología de las Islas Canarias )y a la Universidad de La Laguna por la invitación , a D. Juan Pedro Rivero que nos trató con una amabilidad que no está de moda y por supuesto al público asistente. Cuando cantas y escuchas "bravo" varias veces, piensas que algo estás haciendo bien . A los polifonicxs, muchas gracias, por el esfuerzo, por las horas, por renovarse en cada ensayo y en cada concierto. El camino se empezó hace un año y seguimos....    less
