Il coro, con sede a Trento, raccoglie al suo interno validi musicisti provenienti da ogni dove, desiderosi di approfondire il repertorio sacro dei secoli XVI e XVII.

“Misericordes sicut Pater,” is the official Latin theme of the Year of Mercy and translates to “Merciful Like the Father"; by the English Composer Paul inwood and the text of the hymn in Latin and Italian was written by Jesuit Father Eugenio Costa.

The title is drawn from John 6:36, Misericordes sicut Pater (English: Be Merciful, As Your Father Is). inwood's composition was the winner in an international competition sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization. The hymn has now been released in Italian, French, and English, with a Latin antiphon and refrains.

Harpsichordist, organist and visionary choirmaster George Malcolm was one of the leading figures in British music after the Second World War. in his early life he had been Organ Scholar of Balliol College and Choirmaster of St Mary’s, Clapham. The carollers, an a cappella group, formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie, has earned the distinction of being ranked amongst the best of Ontario choirs in both the 2010 and 2013 Ontario Music Festival Association competition. They are a non-profit organization, who raise funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales.
