In this song, a water nymph has fallen in love with a human prince and beckons the moon to find him and tell of her longing for him. Text: La Luna, La Luna, Your light sees through endless time, Tell, o tell me where my love lies. O moon e'er you pass, Wake my dreaming lover, I am waiting, I am calling, Tell him, light his place. Ah, moon, help him remember And dream of me, Tell him, O tell him, Who is waiting, who is longing! I am waiting, longing! Longing! Tell him come, tell him, O moon. Chapeau! Chapeau! Chapeau a todas las mujeres! Hurra por las mujeres! We live in the Isle of Man, a small island with a population of about 80,000 situated in the Irish Sea, between England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland. It is a Crown Dependency which means it is a self governing possession of the British Crown. We are very proud of our parliament, Tynwald which claims to be the world's oldest parliament in continuous existence, dating back to 979. We also issue our own bank notes, coins and stamps and enjoy a unique perspective in terms of our language, (Manx Gaelic), history, music and art. It is a beautiful island with very varied scenery. The choir is SSA, (soprano, mezzo-soprano and alto) and has a membership base of around 40 members under the watchful eye of Musical Director, Angela Stew...    less
